Nose Press
Prerequisites: Tail Press, Nollie Starts
A nose press is a 50-50 (All Stances) ridden with all your weight over the front foot - nose pinned to the feature, tail up. It's the first real style trick on rails.
How to do it
- Approach with only your front hand on the handle and keep it there. Reaching with the back hand turns the board off line.
- Keep the rope tight the whole way - the tension is part of your balance on the nose.
- To learn it, ride on in a normal 50-50 and lean forward. Once that's comfortable, hop on and land straight onto the nose with your weight already forward.
- Stay over that front foot for the full length of the rail, then Nollie Starts off the end and ride away.
