Terms of use
Last updated: 2026-05-10
By using Progresspedia you agree to these terms. They're written in plain English so you can actually read them.
What Progresspedia is
A community-edited learning platform. Articles are written and improved by users. We host and maintain the platform; we don't guarantee that the content is accurate, complete, or safe for your specific situation.
Your account
- You're responsible for keeping your account secure.
- One account per person.
- Don't impersonate someone else or pretend to be staff.
- You must be at least 13 to sign up.
Acceptable use
Don't use Progresspedia to:
- Post spam, advertising, or unrelated promotional content.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
- Post content that's illegal, infringes copyright, or violates someone's privacy.
- Submit deliberately false or misleading edits.
- Attempt to break, probe, or overload the platform.
- Scrape the site at a rate that affects other users. Articles are available as raw markdown (see
/llms.txt); use that instead.
We can remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.
Your content
When you submit a comment, suggested edit, or other contribution, you keep ownership of it but you grant Progresspedia and other users a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, distribute, modify, and build upon it as part of the platform, including in future versions of an article that other contributors edit further. This is how a wiki works.
You confirm that you have the right to submit what you submit (you wrote it, or it's properly licensed). Don't paste copyrighted material you don't own.
Article content on Progresspedia is offered to readers under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike licence (CC BY-SA 4.0). If you contribute, your contribution is offered under the same licence.
Skill-learning disclaimer
Progresspedia hosts content about physical skills (calisthenics, snowboarding, wakeboarding, and more). Practising physical skills carries risk of injury. The content here is community-contributed and not medical or professional advice. Use your judgement, progress gradually, wear appropriate safety gear, and consult a qualified instructor or doctor before attempting anything beyond your current ability. You participate at your own risk.
Our content
The Progresspedia name, logo, and software are owned by us. The article content is owned by its contributors and licensed as described above.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your settings page, or by emailing [email protected] if you'd rather we do it for you. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
No warranty
Progresspedia is provided "as is." We don't warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, bug-free, or that the content is accurate. To the extent allowed by law, we exclude all implied warranties.
Liability
To the extent allowed by law, Progresspedia is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability is capped at what you've paid us in the past 12 months (which, for free accounts, is zero).
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced to registered users by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Disputes will be heard in Danish courts.
