What you'll learn

You’ll learn how to link slow backside and frontside 180s, transition between heel and toe edges, and eventually spin full 360s with smooth edging and controlled speed. If your edges are catching, this tutorial shows you how to fix it.

The idea

Ground spins are one of the best balance drills you can do on a snowboard. They teach edge control, board feel, and smooth transitions so you stay on the correct edge throughout all your buttering tricks.
