Frontside 360
Source: Snowboard Addiction · channel
A full 360-degree frontside rotation off a kicker. You need solid frontside 180s and enough airtime to complete the extra half rotation. Wind up, pop, spin the full 360, and land riding forward. This is the first trick that really requires committing to a full spin.
A 360 is not just two 180s stacked. The wind-up is bigger, the rotation is faster, and the spin has to carry all the way through a full circle without stalling. The way to generate the extra rotation is a deeper pre-wind of the shoulders on approach, followed by a more aggressive shoulder-unwind at the moment of pop. Your lower body then spins to catch up with your upper body, which is where the full rotation comes from.
Tuck compact through the spin. Pulling your arms and knees in speeds up the rotation (figure-skater physics); extending them slows it down. A common mistake is to stay extended through the air, which means you only get about 270 degrees around and land diagonal. Tuck tight, spot the landing as you come around past 270, and extend your legs to open up and stomp it. Use a medium-to-large kicker for enough airtime. You literally need more seconds in the air than a 180.

Key tips
- Get comfortable with frontside 180s first
- Wind up more than a 180. The extra rotation needs extra energy
- Tuck compact to spin faster, extend to slow down
- Spot your landing early. You should see it coming around at 270 degrees
- Use a medium or large kicker for enough airtime
