    Skill:
rotate the board frontside under my feet
    Switch:
    Can be ridden switch
    Prerequisites:
    Ollie Shuvit (Shove-it)

    What this trick is

A frontside pop-shuvit is scooping your board in a frontside motion 180 degrees without turning your body.

    Before you try it

Be confident riding your board, learn backside shuvits and be good at ollies. Front shuvs are difficult to do witout a pop!

    How to do it

    1. Foot position - Similar to an ollie with some small adjustments. Back foot - slightly closer to the heel-side edge of the tail. Front foot - toes hanging off the toe-side edge.
    2. Keep your shoulders locked over the bolts of the board.
    3. Pop straight down and scoop forwards enough to rotate the board 180 degrees. Don't forget to lift you back foot after the scoop and pull your front foot straight up so it doesn't get in the way of the rotation of the board.
    4. Catch the board with your front foot at the highest point of the trick and land

    Common mistakes

    • The board flips - Focus on keeping your front foot flat and let the board come up to you rather than pushing your front foot down to meet it.
