    Skill:
ollie, get my back truck over a rail and slide across it on the base of my deck
    Switch:
    Can be ridden switch
    Prerequisites:
    Ollie Frontside 180 Slappy Boardslide

    What this trick is

A lipslide is similar to a boardslide, except instead of the front turck lifting over the bar to slide on the deck, it's the back truck that goes over. This provides extra difficulty as you need to ollie more than the height of the bar to get the back truck over, rather than lifting the front truck over and using the bar to pivot the rest of the board up.

    Before you try it

You should be good at ollies, front 180 and boardslides. You should be able to ollie over the bar that you will be sliding!

Practice a front 90 over a line on the ground, starting parallel to the line, getting your back truck over and landing with the line in the centre of the deck.

    How to do it

    1. Front foot: Similar to an ollie, maybe slightly further back. Back foot at the back of the tail
    2. Approach the bar at around a 45 degree angle
    3. Pop aimping to get your back truck over the bar as you turn
    4. Land on the bar and aim the keep the board flat as is slides to avoid slipping out.
    5. Turn out and land back on the ground!

    Common mistakes

    • Catching back truck on the bar: Try ollying higher or a lower bar.
    • Slipping out: Keep your weight over the board as you slide.
