    Rocket Air

    Skill:
land a straight air with a Rocket grab
    Switch:
    Can be ridden switch
    Prerequisites:
    Nuclear Grab

The Rocket is a double grab: both hands on the nose of the board. The board points straight up like a rocket, which is where the name comes from. Borrowed from snowboarding, and one of the harder grabs to make look right behind a boat or cable because one hand is still on the handle, or you can let the handle rest in your elbow while grabbing. This can be dangerous so watch out.

    Key tips

    • Both hands on the nose, board pointing up
    • Bend your front leg hard to bring the nose up to your hands
    • Get a solid Nuclear first, the reach is similar
    • Release early. Two hands off the board late means a rough landing
