Switch Linking Turns

Switch Linking Turns

You can ride switch in a straight line — now link full turns. This means transitioning from heel-edge to toe-edge and back, all while riding with your opposite foot forward. It will feel sloppy at first, but once switch turns click you'll be a much more complete rider.

Key tips

  • Start on a green slope even if your regular turns are on blues or reds
  • Focus on smooth edge-to-edge transitions, not speed
  • Your front foot in switch is your weak foot — trust it
  • Dedicate full runs to switch turns only
