## What this trick is

A noseslide is sliding on the nose of your board at a 90 degree angle to the ledge.

## Before you try it

Be familiar with front 180 and front boardslides so that you are used to turning that way. This isn't essential, you may learn noseslide first and then the other two tricks later!

Practice Ollie into Nose stall, approaching the ledge from 90 degrees and slowly decrease the angle.

## How to do it

1. Approach parallel to the ledge at a medium to fast pace around half a boards length away.
2. Pop your ollie and turn 90 degrees, aiming to land your nose on the ledge and moving your front foot right to the tip of the nose.
3. Keep your weight over the front truck and your body open slightly as you slide to avoid the leading wheel catching on the ledge.

4. Ride the slide out, adjusting your balance as you go.

5. Turn your body out of the slide and land all 4 wheels back on the ground.

## Common mistakes

- Not moving your foot high enough up the nose - the board tips back down towards the ground rather than locking in
- Sticking on the ledge - not enough speed or not enough wax on the ledge
